Grand Harvest Silo Protection Net is a highly resistant woven net designed to protect the surface of your silo against external attacks and aggressions, eliminating the need for tires or scrap metal as ballast. Highly UV treated for long-lasting durability, it is the ideal complement to use in combination with any silage oxygen barrier film on the market. This net comes in two options: the Silo Protection Net 200 and the Silo Protection Net 240. Grand Harvest Silo Protection Net 200 is the new generation of anti-UV protective net made from polypropylene (PP) at 200 g/m², green/black in color. What sets it apart is its unique Twill weaving technology, which makes it exceptionally flexible and soft, allowing it to fit perfectly over the silo surface and conform to any shape. Totally opaque, it provides full UV protection, which means it can be used directly on top of the 45 µm oxygen barrier film without any additional UV covering. It is also non-slippery and reparable, making it particularly practical on the field — ease of use is its number one strength. It is available in standard widths of approximately 17 ft and 34 ft, and lengths ranging from approximately 13 ft to 79 ft, with tailor-made dimensions also available upon request. Grand Harvest Silo Protection Net 240 is a monofilament woven fabric made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) at 240 g/m², green in color with yellow stripes. Very resistant to abrasion and tearing, it is a well-established and trusted product with over 25 years of experience, offering a high quality and durable solution for silo surface protection. It features a standard weave with integrated loops and is supplied folded and bagged for ease of handling. It is available in standard sizes with widths from approximately 26 ft to 59 ft and lengths from approximately 33 ft to 66 ft, with tailor-made dimensions also available upon request.
